A few eggs are sticking out from under her, today I will take the dead ones. Wow, 50 eggs! Impressive!20 is a lot of eggs.
Are the eggs sticking out from under her? If so, I would remove 8 eggs if they are hers. I would have done this earlier before they developed this far, so at this point i would just remove the ones that seem dead or not properly developed if any.
Also, when they hatch, she will not take care of the chicks til the other eggs hatch. This is why you would want to remove the bad ones asap because she will still be on incubating mode til it hatches.
Well, she will keep taking and taking. If she is not separated others will lay eggs with her and she will steal other chickens eggs by rolling them or carrying them under her wing. There was a video of a chicken with 50 eggs under her.

She has just been getting sick of it and it has been quite a bit longer than it should take for the eggs to hatch, and I think she has given up hope. I also thought it would be easier to candle if needed with an incubator, so I don’t have a broody hen growling at me haha!
I hope all continues to go well. Lovely family!
