how long until my ducks mature???

hi, i have had my ducks for 5 1/2 weeks and i don't know how long it takes for them to mature so that they will lay eggs. I've heard that it only take 12 weeks but i don't know if thats true or not. i could really use help.

depends on the breed but figure at least 6 months or more

i have 1 ancona 1 khaki Campbell 3 muscovies and one unknown. she is all black i think she's a black sweetish but I'm not sure LOL!!!

Mine started laying around 4and a half months (18 weeks) and she's a Pekin.

I'm just wondering how do you like your penkins are they layers or meat what are they for???

I htink her ducks are for eggs.There are not many people in this duck section that eat their pets!!

I believe the average is about 5-6 months depending on the breed.
