Blossom is now up to 700g and needing less supplementary feeding each day.

Just a final update to say that Blossom is now back to 800g and is really well, although she has decided to go through a full moult so is looking most bedraggled. I'm really pleased and thank you all for your help again

I thank you for this forum. I had a broody chicken, bantum, and after a few days broke her of it. Now I have a Jersey Giant that sits on the nest as long as I leave her and refuses even treats. I remove any eggs and today, 2nd day, locked her out of the nest to free range with the others. With only 3 boxes I have to allow room for my other girls. Tonight I took her out of the box and she went back in geting into another box. Thank you for all your great ideas. I have a wire box I will put her into tomorrow. I am grateful to have Back Yard Chickens for reference.
