I know that sounds like a silly question. I have one lone survivor from 9 started eggs and it was due to hatch yesterday. It has been rocking for about 2-2.5 days now, and I swear I heard peeps this morning when I added more water to the 'bater. Earlier I could not take the suspense and picked up the egg and listened and there was distinct tapping, so I've got to believe it will hatch soon? Should I worry at some point that it can't break out? Any advice????? Sorry this is my first hatch.

I have had eggs start rocking on day 15. Then they start rolling on day 18. Its fun to watch. I love hearing peeps and hearing a roll. In winter our bedroom is warmest room in summer a spare bedroom. Few eggs get hatched in our bedroom, but they are sweet moments. Keep the temp at 99-100 and keep that lid closed.
