How long will it take for the pecking order to be re-established?

In my limited experience, they're gonna do it "no matter what" !!!

I've a similar problem. (I take the "used-to-be-injured OUT when I'm outside and let her avoid the bigger chickens and feed her separately, somewhat....although the bigger chickens "crowd her out" she free-ranges a while.)

She always comes when I call her....then I put her back with her "siblings" for the evening.

Eventually, I think she'll be one of the top.....alpha type hens.
(I reckon she'll be gettin' her revenge!) (SHE'S TOUGH,QUICK, and KNOWS MORE than her "siblings") A graduate of the "School of HARD KNOCKS" !!!!)

She's too quick to kill and too nice to LOSE!

just my feelings.....maybe wrong.....

BUT, I remember when I was the "little guy" on the block....made me tougher!

Ha-Ha....don't worry.....what goes around, comes around.

Everyone was picking on her so I did make a bunch of treats and spead feed all over the run.... Funny thing is she has bonded well with the RIRs bu the Black sex links have started to pick at her which they hadn;t before...

Today is a much better day...She is getting feed now... Not as much as before...

Thanks for the support and great example! Blu and I lucked out today... It was another scortcher and since she was being picked on yesterday I added another feeding station inside the coop where she has been spending her time... Each time I checked she was pigging out as much as possible...

So I know shes getting food...

They were still chasing her around the yard early this morning... So I grabbed a few zucchini from the garden and broke into chunks and gave to the birds... They clucked at first since they are used to my chopping up thier treats... But I came back to yard without any zucchini... Tonight I gave them one more and saw that blu was eating along side the others...

The bonding moment I had been watching for!!!!

I know she loved being in the house, but she enjoys being with her flock more... I am so happy for her!!!

I cannot believe it took two nights nearly 48 hours for them to stop chasing her off... I am so glad I didn't give up!

Thank you everyone for all of your help!!!

I did the same thing I put out another feeder and waterer. My bullies were trying to keep the pullets away from the feed.
