How long will it take to take?

I've just decided to turn my rooster back in with the hens, and was wondering if anyone can give me an idea on how long it may be before they'll be fertile.I have a hen who wanting to brood,and hate to see waste her time.

I'd say right away. There shouldnt be a wait period, but i would give them a week just to give them time to breed and rebreed. You can also look for the bulls eye in your egg yolks and then you will know forsure.

Thanks so much.I thought would give it about a week but I didn't want to wait too long, she might loose interest.
