I know that they are seasonly layers. How long into summer or fall will they keep laying eggs?

MINE stop about end of July....some lay later , but remember after the peacock drops his train, he is not fertile....so those egg lay real late will not be fertile.

I was wondering this myself, since I lost my eggs to a preditor a few weeks ago.

Are peafowl not like other poultry --- in the way they stay fertile? What I mean is: if I were to loose my rooster the hens would still lay fertile eggs for several days, even weeks after the rooster is gone. Do peafowl not do this?

Trudy when I posted about separating my varietys in breeding pens , someone told me that it would be 14 days before I would know for sure the eggs were from the male in the breeding pen.

So would you say this is a good time to stop buying eggs, Deerman?

Really depend if their peacock has drop their train, check with seller to see.
