We've had two severe storms in two days. One of my Midget White hen's nest flooded and candling shows that most of the egg are DIS.
The hen has been brooding for two weeks. If she's given fresh eggs in a nest that has been flood proofed what's the chances she will brood long enough to hatch the fresh eggs? If this would work I'll put the few eggs that survived getting flooded in the incubator or under a bantam.
