How long you use Baytril 10%

I may be wrong or sound odd I recently switched a brand from my normal one because that wasn't available in store the chemist there said it's 10% baytril (enrofloxacin) and marked for poultry , dogs , cats and birds

I was treating one of my pet pigeon for respiratory infection ^mild^

But this new brand making his appetite fade almost 0 and make him sleepy

Like my regular brand never show me 1% side effect it's been 3 days his voice come back thank god I'm giving baytril 5mg 1 drop 2x a Day but his appetite is not coming

So as sleeping DO u think I need to long the course Any advices

Most of what I have read on dosage of 10% enrofloxacin, dosage is 10 mg per kg given orally every 12 hours for 5 days.
