How long???

hello. Again. I know I have a lot of questions but I think that questions extend you knowledge. Anywho, this is my first time letting chicks hatch under a broody hen and am wondering how long the hen will stay devoted to the other unhatched eggs before abandoning them. Thanks to any who can help )

In my experience it varies on the hen. Some hens will see them through, but I have had some that only care for the first hatchling.
