How long

Yeah i heard of a 7 to 14 day limit. I realise the hatch rate decreases. I've got 44 in the incubator on day 13 so nearly lockdown.and then I've been collecting more eggs for about 4 to 5 days now.ive got now 46 eggs I've been tilting twice a day in there cartons in my room where I incubate them. So I reckon I should be alright to put them in as soon as all the eggs I have in the bator now hatch in couple more days. I'll get more fresher eggs in the next couple days. But thanks for your help and advice. I'll see how it goes.ill let you know when it all happens. I'll put up here how much I end up putting in in the next incubation

I collected for someone else for about 8 days and produced maybe 57 eggs or so I think, they took them home and contacted me after a few days and said all but four were developing. We had terrible rain and I found some floating in muddy water as the quail frolicked around in the muck, so that could have even damaged those 4.

my original eggs were sent from a stranger on eBay, they were lost in the mail for 6 days, I set them on the evening of day 9 after being laid, 21 hatched of the 36. It was my first hatch ever of anything, so there was probably some human error involved as well as time and fertility.

Eggs are tougher than you would think, if you turn them and keep them cool they can stay good for 10-14 days, obviously sooner is better, but even later is worth a try.

Awsome. Well I've now collected about nearly 60 eggs I reckon from my 7 girls. Not sure how many days it's been. But wouldn't be any more than 10 or 12 days.ive just candled my remaining eggs in my incubator today.i had three more hatch out from my first lot of 44 eggs I got about 29 hatched the rest I candled today they were no good so I'm cleaning my bator out tommorow and putting my 60 or so more quail eggs in. Some quails I put in the brooder box fresh water and grinded up gamebird starter and they have a Brinsea heat pad lowered right down low. Some quail end up with weak legs and are unable to walk. I try and feed them and all that.i had one that nearly made it back on its feet. Does anyone know what causes that problem
