How long before I need to isolate breeding pairs from the rest of the flock to ensure I have the right rooster on the right hen to hatch their eggs?????????????

Many breeders use three weeks. To be absolutely sure, use four weeks. I have seen three reports on here since I joined this forum where eggs remained fertile for more than three weeks after removing the rooster from the hen. From their posts, I think these were reliable reports. However, it is very rare for them to remain fertile that long.
