How long???

Keep in mid I have had three successful hatches off this

I usually put 1/4 cup of water a day till lockdown then put 1/2 a cup of water in then ( hova bator )

I'm no real expert on telling difference between roosters and hens.
I just guess, in some breeds the hen gets a tail within the first week but roos don't till later.
My sizzles are 16 weeks old know, so they are all crowing. Managed to get rid of one.... 5 to go.

Here are some photos I took last night :)

How are yours going?

As long as you didn't hit it hard enough to send the eggs crashing into each other cracking anything you're good.

thank you and I'm also having a problem with the temperature today which is only staying between 98- 97 it won't go higher it's been that way for 2 hours now are they ok? ( bad day I'm freaking out )

You can try some rocks or (even the glass rocks that people use in vases) in the water wells of the bator to try to even out the heat. You could wrap a blanket around the bator. Have a table light beside the bator on to throw off a little extra heat. Whatever you try though only do it if you are going to be there to monitor it and make sure that your temps don't go too high. Have you ever checked your thermomters for aaccuracy? What kind of bator are you using? Is it still or forced air? Temps that are lower than they need to be for the average of incubation can cause developmental delays in the chicks and delayed hatches.
