.....probably had a 60W light for extending 'daylight' hours tho.
Oil filled radiator might work for you, they are pretty safe if power connections are safe.
How loud are baby chicks when in the brooder both day & night?

Maybe it was someones ellse post... I have oild filled one so might work in a colder night
