how many acres do you have??

That's awesome. Thanks to you and your husband for being willing to do the backbreaking work of farming to feed the rest of us.

By the way, we have about 5 acres.

Thanks. I wouldn't trade our life.

I have 3 acres and would love to get my hands on my neighbors 5 acre lot that is seperate from their house lot and land locked. It runs behind out property. Most of out property is out front now and I think it is too wet to put large animals out there. The back part is too rocky. My property was part of a large farm at one time so we have the old rock walls. There are 2 across the back about 100 feet apart but in between them is the place where they dropped all of the extra rock and that probably takes up 3/4 of an acre. So, no place for a pasture

We have just over 6, are trying to find out the deal on the place next door, neighbor moved suddenly suspect Foreclosure, she also has a little over 6, would love to buy that. We had most of it cleared a few years ago but have not that the money to finish clearing, we have a stream that cuts the property in half so will eventually need to put in a road to access the back properly.

7.78 and I live 600 miles away from it. I rent it to a dairy farmer... whilst I live on .25 acres in the city.

We have 0.41 acre in a rural suburb (that is slowly turning into a normal suburb). We want to move to a minimum of 2.5 acres...at least for right now. I am trying to talk DH into getting a house on 2.5 or so acres across the valley this summer and renting our house out, but who knows...he isn't to big on change. My thought is live in the other one and learn on that land, rent our house out...then in 5 -10 years, sell both, so we can afford the house and property we really want!

Who knows what we'll end up doing though.

We have about 85 acres in the Black Forest of Colorado (just outside of Colorado Springs). About 45 in Ponderosa Pines, the rest cross fenced pastures. Two barns, 6 residences and our 2 businesses---Pet boarding and grooming and a Pet Crematory. It is beautiful out here!!
