Or you could buy some hatching eggs from some of us who already have them and are breeding them to help you to start out?

Always a possibility I'm just unsure of how rough it would be to ship eggs all the way here. I'm inexperienced with buying hatching eggs. ( I think I found the right site to get educated though xD)

We are snowed in and i have been plowing and shoveling all day but we are warm and have plenty of food. My chickens are not happy though. Had to dig out the pens and they do not want to come out! The good news is they are laying like a house of fire.

I know this thread hasn’t been used in years but does anyone know if Blue australorps has been accepted by apa? We breed blue australorps and we’d like to show them if it’s an accepted color, for some reason i couldn’t find it on the internet.
