I know that I updated the pics in my other thread, but know I know to make my subject more specific- so forgive my "over posting".
Here are the pictures I took today at 7 weeks. It's amazing how fast they change!
I'm afraid that I (at the most) have only 1 girl form the dark brahmas- very disappointing if true... I know the pics aren't the greatest- can you help me guess?
Dk 1 (Pullet?)
Dk 2 (unsure- suspect Roo)
Dk 3 (unsure- suspect roo)
Now for my buff Brahmas- I suspect that I have three roos and one poor little hen. The hen (I think) is the one with the down-turndish tail and the less red face. She (?) also has black and buff feathers on her back spreading toward her tail. The "boys" tails have started to turn up. They are more aggressive- peck at me when I try to pick them up.
Hen (?)
So what do you think?
I can't keep more than 1 (maybe 2) roos and want more brahma babies, so I don't know which brahma roo I will be keeping, but I guess for straight run if I get a couple of hens- that's not too bad right?
