How Many Breeds in Small Flock?

Thanks. I have heard this about "production reds," and wasn't sure if ISA Browns fell into this category.

Have only heard good things about Brahmas. Are the hens crazy big though or just a little chonky? I worry about space with them.

It's going to depend on the individual bird, but typically hatchery strains aren't as large as birds from breeders! I don't think the size will cause too much of an issue!

Thanks so much, everyone! I'll have to talk to my husband and make our decisions. Maybe I can see which ones our young kids like At least one Lavender Orpington for sure though!
