How many people from Ohio have Buckeye breed chickens? What do you think of them? Are they friendly? Do they lay well?

I am new to the breed. I had never even heard of Buckeyes before last summer when I saw someone selling eggs on e-bay. The name caught my eye, when I read their story I was hooked. Finally, I caved in and order eggs in Oct and hatched my first buckeyes in Nov. I am figuring the breed out as I go and would love to see pic and hear othe stories.

I have about 120+ right now, 60 hens & roos (35 for breeding), 35 juveniles sold for a May pickup, 20+ left overs from sending out day old chicks and sportsman full of eggs ready to be shipped out when they hatch. Oooh yea, I got me some buckeyes.

If you need some let me know. They won't be critically endangered for long if I have anything to do with it.
they have too many great traits to let them just fade away.
