How Many Cc Of Tylan 50 Do Chickens Get? Help Asap

We have a pair of Mallard ducks, about 7 months old. The female suddenly became ill yesterday, not eating or drinking, not vocal (which she usually is very vocal) and moving very slow. Occasionally would cough once or twice and it sounded very wet like a person with pneumonia. They sleep in a small pond (kid’s swimming pool) that we have for them with a pump and a large settlement/bio filter setup. This morning she looked very weak so I took her out of the pond and she could barely walk. Took straight to the vet where she received an injection of 1.5ml of 2.7mg/ml of Enrofioxacin and an injection of Vitamin B complex. By time the vet saw her, she could not stand or walk anymore. Sent home with 20 Enrolfloxacin 22.7 mg and 20 Doxycycline 100 mg tabs to administer one every 12 hours. Also sent with Harrison’ Juvenile Hand Feed to force feed once every hour or two. 5 hours after returning home, she seems about the same with little or no improvement yet. Feeding is challenging, we are getting some in her but not as much as we were told to. We moved her inside out of the upper 90 degree heat which seem to help a lot since soon after arriving home, she was very hot and struggling badly. Her mate is very upset not being with her. Don’t know what else we can do. Pray she makes it!

Feeding with a syringe. First few time was difficult but I believe we (including the duck, Ethel) has the hang of it. I hold her head from behind, my son holds her beak near the end just elevated somewhat and using a very skinny syringe I time the fluids with her breathing. We seem to be getting better than 95% of the food and antibiotics down that way without her struggling. At first I think we were putting liquid in at the wrong time with her breathing cycle. She's seems to be doing a little better, still coughing some.

Can you bring them both in?

Might she have aspergilliosis, a fungal lung infection - that would not respond to antibiotics.
We have both inside now. Louie, the male was not doing well alone outside and she needed to be inside out of the heat. We have Louie in a large dog kennel with Ethel in a box next to the kennel where they can be next to each other. Louie is responding much better where he can see her and she makes some small clucks in response to him being there too. Should help her a lot.

If she has aspergilliosis, is there a treatment for that?

Give the Baytril a good 24 hours. You might also want to call your vet in the morning and ask about subcutaneous fluids.
As long as we can keep good results with the syringe feeding not sure if subcutaneous fluid would be needed. I had some luck with her drinking a few sips of water after wetting her beak with my finger, but not drinking enough that way, hence the importance of syringe feeding which we also do with plain water so.

Google "aspergillosis avian medicine" and you should find some samples of treatments.
