The building plans say that it has
-24 square feet of space inside
-5 feet tall
-has 5 nesting boxes
-the plans show 2 roosting bars but I think I could add 1-2 more

Does anyone else have this coop? I found the plans on Etsy. The goal is to have around 15

laying hens.

Maybe 8-10 if you let them out each day and cleaned it out each often. You also will need at least a foot of roost space for each chicken.

Most chickens only coop at night but they still need adequate roost space, ventilation, and floor space.

Also consider your climate - if it gets cold/snowy where you're at for prolonged periods of time, the chickens may not want to come out for days, in which case the recommended minimum of 4 sq ft in floor space per standard hen isn't enough.

Sorry I should have added that they will be free run with a premier 1 electric poultry fence, so only in the coop at night
As @rosemarythyme mentioned, there will be times when they cannot be free ranged because of bad weather. When you get your first predator attack, they will also need to be secured for a week or two.
You do not want to have more that 6 birds confined to that coop for any length of time.
