At the beginning of this week I had 5 out of 6 broody chickens. 1 was in jail, the other 4 decided to follow suit but I didn't have anywhere to put them so just blocked of their nest boxes and they slept on the floor of the coop. The 1 in jail is now out on good behaviour after 4 days. 2 of the 4 have sorted themselves out and seem to be fine. This leaves me with 2 still broody, so have put them into jail together as I don't have space for 2 pens. Will this be OK?
No eggs this week, not even from the faithful 1 that's hasn't been broody at all.

Depends on the hens, and their pecking order relationship. I usually put multiple hens in my breaking pen without problems. When I have to put a more dominant hen in there I sometimes have problems. All you can do is try it and see if they get along or fight.

These 2 are actually sisters, so get on fine together, but also questions if they should be kept together.
