How many chickens do you have and what do you do with all the eggs?

I see a lot of you sell your eggs...
Can I ask what price to you charge?

Thanks

We sell our eggs wholesale for 3.20/dozen. The store turns around and sells them for $4.65, and they sell out within three days every week. They're always begging us to increase production, but we're at capacity.

When we were selling them to retail customers, we asked $3.50, which is a pretty common price.

I agree, wholesale is $3.00 or $3.15 per dozen for stores and distributors and $3.50 retail for direct to customers.

8 hens and about a half dozen eggs a day. I'm not allowed to sell eggs [county ordinance] so I give extra's to friends, co-workers AND I use them for barter.

Late chiming in here but this is what I and some of my friends do with eggs:
Trade for fresh produce from a friend's garden
Trade for Yoga classes from a local instructor
Supplement dog food
Supplement chicken feed
Thank you gifts for teachers and friends
Sell!
