How Many Chickens Do You Have?

I have coops for different breeds, various sizes. I have a hoop coop, Turkey coop( now has young chickens). My original coop has two sections and so does the duplex coop. Then I have some play houses for banty coops. They have runs too. Most of the coops are 8x10 or bigger. I tried to post photos but they are loading too slow.

Unknowns but keeping: 4

Trying to sell/eating later: 14

Current chicks: 2 (3 if one survives the night)
Brooding eggs: 15

I just added on to my coop it used to be 8x10 now it is 20x15 and I converted my 10x15 quarantine coop into a batchler pad that has 4 rescued roosters in it and hopefully it will have more here soon

Okay, thanks for sharing. Those are some big coops! Is it hard to maintain and run all of them? I wanted to double mine (expand it), but we'll see how that goes. It's to accommodate some geese I was thinking about getting.

Well it wouldn't be bad if I had some help, but my kids are married off and husband isn't interested.

I'm starting to do cages and covered yards depending on breeds. Obviously big standard flocks can't be In cages but a bantam trio is easy to have in a cage.

I'm a stay at home mom with 3 kids 6,8&10 my kids get $20. for cleaning out the coops each so if they all 3 help each other im out $60. and I use sand and mulch (uncolored) in my run and have a drain pipe under my run so no issues there but even if i did it myself no its not that much I only clean clean them 4x a yr
