Four is a good amount. We had four for a few months before we got three more.

Funnily enough, I'd like to get two or three more! Go figure.

we sell some of our chickens so we used to have 15 but some people offered a good price for 7 of them and I gave them my least favorite

About 50 currently, about 70~ chicks coming this week, another 44 next week, 17 the first week in April and then however many packing peanuts are included and any eggs I incubate.

Planning on finishing the year with a little over 100 permanent ones.

Also have a hospice turkey and about a dozen coturnix
