How many chickens do you have

P.S. I just put 22 eggs into the incubator Sunday morning.

Numbers are always subject to sale or culling.

Flock 1:
Rooster + 4 Hens
Recently added 8 pullets

Flock 2:
Silkie + 4 chicks that she hatched about 2 weeks ago

Will be downsizing in a bit, but currently 18. I don't want any additional roosters and pulling a dozen eggs a day might be a bit too much for our 2 person household.

I currently have 14 - 11 hens, 2 pullets, 1 cockerel
I also have 7 eggs under a broody, but not counting those chickens before they are hatched

108 birds including 8 poults and 2 ducklings. I keep a roster in Excel that updates each day.

lot of chickens good for you.

Not really. It’s a pain in the butt when you’re going on holiday and you have to find someone to take care of so many chickens. I’d much rather have 5 chickens that 45

3 of the Dominique will be leaving in a couple weeks, last hatch was boy heavy.

Last year and and the year prior I had 6 chickens. 5 hens and a rooster. As of today, I have 27 birds and 4 eggs being incubated. 3/27 are 9 days old. 11/27 are roosters... only keeping 3, rest are dinner. Barnyard mix except for my Seramas, I have 6 of those.

I have 14 right now. 6 LF (1 rooster, 5 hens) in one coop, and 4 bantams (1 rooster, 3 hens) in another. The other 4 are 7 week old babies (LF), two of which are boys and will be rehomed soon. So then I'll have 12 chickens in total.
