Wanted a few chicks this spring for the first time. Couldn't decide which breed, so went crazy ordering 2 of everything. Have 38 half grown chicks, at least 5 roos, 33 pullets. Wyandottes silver and gold laced, buff and dark brahmas, salmon faverolles, buff orps, New Hamps, welsummers, barred and partridge rocks, EE, cuckoo and black copper marans, anconas, polish, silkies, and millie fleur d'uccles, and a nutty golden lakenvelder. BCM roo started crowing at 5 1/2 weeks, now the head roo at 12 weeks.
I own 19 (all bantams except for 2)
2 Silver Sebright hens
1 Golden Sebright hen
1 Red Pyle Old English Game
2 Mille Fleur d'Uccle hen and roo
2 Black Tailed White Japanese hen and roo
2 Serama hens
4 Serama chicks
3 Silkie chicks
and 2 Jersey Giant hens
I better go recount, I have done some subtracting and adding, never took chicken math in school.Must be the reason I'm failing at it. Sounds good, right?
