How many chickens is to much chickens

I bet they will clear it for you. If they're docile birds there may not be much in-fighting, and if your neighbors don't care they could roam over their yards too. It may work, but I wouldn't have started with as many as you did. I'll be praying that your flock gets along, (and your neighbors love the chickens and not think them a nuisance!)
To be hones with this whole COVID thing I think I panicked, so a lot of then will be roosters which i plan to use for meat birds.

Oh, I did not think about your neighbors! Can you confine the birds to your half-acre? If not, your neighbors may not appreciate chickens running about loose, pooping everywhere and scratching in their gardens, helping themselves to their garden tomatoes, etc. You will also have to think about keeping your birds safe from neighbors' dogs, etc. I do not mean to be discouraging, just to give you some things to think about.

Yes my back yard is completely fenced in so they will be safe

Yes, I realize that now :) (Just didn't know before). You may want to keep one or two roos however, because they can help guard the flock (and you can raise your own chicks then, which is apart of sustainability long-term). Either way, in that case only about 35 of the chickens will remain long-term, which is a good number.
