How Many Chickens Will It Hold?

I am looking to seriously enlarge my flock next spring. I have a 10x16 barn shaped storage building that is 9 ft tall. I want to pull out the loft areas and remove strips of siding down each 16 ft side to add on nesting boxes with tops that lift up to collect the eggs from the outside. So the 10x16 area will not be taken up by nesting boxes but the girls will access them from inside the coop. I plan to let my chickens free range. There will also be a 20x30 carport and lots of trees they can get under if they want out of rain or snow. Any suggestion on how many chickens?

160sq ft divided by 4 sq ft per chicken gives u 40 chickens
