The bottom is pallets and it will be enclosed totally when we add a run to it so will be predator proof then.

But ventilation, might be hard to incorporate into a curvy metal shell and still be water proof....doesn't it get really hot were you are?

Not really, we don't get the sea breeze but we rarely have hot days and those days we do, I let them out and also make sure they have ice cubes with fruit in it or cold fruit like watermelon.
Hot days are rare here

Well, that's good....but they still need ventilation to release the moist ammonia laden air, from respiration and poops, out of the coop.

where you are I would encourage the hardware cloth
