I now have:

6 RIR Hens
2 BR Roos
14 Nine week old chicks (EE, BR, and two whites ones that I can't remember what they are)
and my newest additions:

7 babies that my Clara Cluck (RIR) hatched last week! Actually she hatched 7 (one was missing Monday afternoon - we figure snake, which left her with 6), she got off the nest and left two eggs. I was curious as to the other eggs so I cracked one. EWWW. I mistakenly killed the chick that was still developing (I'm new to the chicken business). So I thought, "wonder if I can hatch this other one." My husband suggest I try. But I don't have an incubator. The only heat source I had inside the house was a heating pad and believe it or not, the baby hatched night before last!
