Princess's Thread

Welcome!
This is my black australorp chick's, Princess's, thread, where I will keep track of her growth. We purchased her on March 11th.

One of my rooster's passed away in the winter, so I am really hoping that Princess is a cockerel! I will be posting pictures of her often, feel free to give me your thoughts on the gender.

Currently, I am very on the fence of Princess's gender. She is looking Chunky, with a deeper voice. And pink comb and wattles. But I have had pullets that are like this as well.

I'll be following princesses progress! It does look hard to tell princesses gender but I'm kinda leaning towards pullet (although she/he is mostly too young to tell yet.

Yay! Thank you! I will be happy either way, so if she turns out to be a pullet I will probably adopt a cockerel from the petting farm I work at because they have a lot lol.
