AAS in Marine laboratory technology, fancy name for field marine biologist.

Loved the work, never worked at it. Career as Civil Service in Logistics and Supply.

Always loved science, and animals, now living my back to the land dream..... only now I miss the ocean!

I also apply much of what I learned to what we do at home.

Not too bad considering my grandpa made fun of me for going to school to be a "dirt farmer" as he called it. He swore I'd never find a job and I should have studied something different. I'm so glad I followed my heart and took something I was interested in instead of just chasing a career path that would make me big bucks.

Worked in the field for many years in medical laboratories and pharmaceuticals.

Currently retired but working part time for the school district to help fund DD college education...

Bs is general biology (University of Nevada) and then wants to go to grad school at Scripps or San Diego for marine neurobiology and cognitive behavioral science.

your degree: BS in Geology, emphasis in Environmental Geology

and are you currently working in your field? Yes, but I am also working on my MS in Geological Sciences (emphasis in Hydrogeology). I work part-time as a Research Assistant in a lab in our department and part-time as a Staff Geologist for a local firm (which will be become full-time when I graduate next spring).

Also, where did you attend school? My undergrad was completed at California State University, San Bernardino and my Master's is being done at California State University, Fullerton.

I have used all of my degrees for a long career in the upper echelon of the music business and a pro vocal coach. Spent over 10 years with major NY recording studio and their associated production and publishing companies. Currently writing book for vocalists on recording techniques. Still do consulting in intellectual property and vocal coaching, but more retired than anything else.
