How many days in a row is the longest your hen or pullet has layed?

On November 5th, I discovered a pullet of mine started laying. I found 2 of her little small eggs that day...not sure if she layed both of them that day or one of them late in the evening before roosting the day before.

Then, the next day, November 6th she didn't lay.

November 7th through today she has layed EVERY DAY!! I mean, the girl needs a break you would think!

We've been getting three eggs per day from our three girls with only about 7 days in total where only two eggs have arrived.... so that's 7 days off between all three chooks in a space of about 6 months.

I have a black star hen who laid an egg EVERDAY for 93 days.

She's over two now and only lays about 3 a week.

My kids say we should get rid of the fancy chickens and just have Black Stars and Pearl White Leghorns.

...but I like variety.

Mine lay about 6 eggs/week. They get later and later in the day and then skip a day and start early the next.
