:How many different breeds do you have?

I started with Silver Laced Wyandottes, then I traded some chicks for a few rhoade island reds and a few buff orphs, I then stopped adding breeds and am working on increasing my number of layers as I have more egg customers then eggs.

BTW - I am getting 2.25 a dozen

Is that per day?

I am increasing my laying hen population too. I want to try and have enough eggs to sell at the local farmers market next year.

Light Brahmas are the only breed I have at the present time. I'm working on a new venture that will be fun for me in the heritage breed improvement of a specific rare breed.....when this happens I'll share my results with you all.
