My pullets started laying in mid-September at 21 wks old. I gotten about 9 double yolkers so far - 5 from the Red Stars, 3 from the EEs & 1 from the SLW/GLWs.
I know someone who has "Golden Reds" - same as Red Stars, except they're from a hatchery in PA that I think you can only order by photo or mail - anyways, his are the same age as mine and lay extra-large to Jumbo all the time. Not all of the are double-yolkers, but the extra-large egg cartons won't close.

I've got 4 chickens laying. One California White started laying in September and the other on Thanksgiving Day. Two RIR's started laying earlier this month. Each one lays nearly everyday. I got one white double yoker. It was huge (and delicious)!

Our girls have been laying since the end of October, and we have gotten 8 huge double yolkers so far! Two just this past week.
