Our 3 6mo old Muscovy ladies are pretty consistent at 2 eggs a day this winter. They eat a few peas from their water, but most are never eaten. I've read that egg production requires 22-30? days till laid. I wonder, if there's a cold snap, then that affects # eggs laid weeks later. Anyway, most we've asked if they'd like to try duck eggs, have jumped on our offer. I switched to Tucker Milling Show Flock "Layer 22%" pellets after Christmas; has niacin. Hmmm, 60 - 200 eggs a year. I think we're on track for 3 X 200 = 600 eggs this 2024
