I was deep cleaning out the duck hut today to add fresh hay for upcoming colder weather.
Found a hidden nest way in the back and covered up.
Seven eggs!

They love to cover their eggs...

The girls are brand new, so none yet! Just about 4 weeks old but because we got them early autumn (don’t do this if you live in the PNW like me, opt for spring instead!!)

I think they’ll lay pretty soon for us once spring arrives!? Super exciting.

My ducks started at 5-6 months, so they may lay then!
