How many ducks can you have per acre?

Hi I'm a brand new member although I've been getting information of here for some time now, my family and I have 20 acres of land and plenty of barns etc not in use, we have a friend who deals in hen egg production but needs thousands of duck eggs each week and we want to get into this ourselves and supply the duck eggs, my question is how many free range ducks can you get per acre is it 100 or 1000 I'm being told all diffrent types of info, any help will be much appreciated

1. What breeds did you have in mind?

2. Are you expecting them to forage for most of their food?

3. What native plants are in the acreage?

Hi thanks for the reply the ducks are going to be khaki Campbell's and they will have lots of feed so won't be reliant on foraging, also the fields are grass with no other plants on the land apart from the odd tree
