How many eggs are in your fridge?

Counted this morning and had 9 dozen. Time for my husband to make his bi-weekly haul. We give them to friends and sell some too. Made the mistake of not charging friends at first and now am kind of obligated.

3 dozen, but they are spoken for....Sold 3 dozen yesterday. Gave a dozen away to a farming neighbor who lost her husband this summer. So it varies from 1 to 5 dozen eggs at any given time.

Hi Bo,

My 3 hens were molting last month and I fed them a large handful of dry cat food soaked in hot water, after a week of extra cat food, they are back to laying everyday or almost everyday. Extra protein for feather growth and kick start the egg laying again...

Last night, I gave a dozen eggs to my 21yo daughter

Just mention that you need to buy another 50 or 100 pounds of chicken feed, then they will give you a couple of dollars,

My son and I ate Window Eggs for breakfast (egg cooked inside a piece of bread with a whole in the middle).

We have 2 and a half dozen...from 2 laying girls...we just can't keep up! And that is after giving a dozen away on Monday. I think it will soon be time for deviled eggs.

I think I have 2 18-packs and 1 almost-full dozen carton. But most of those are bantam bitty-size or else new pullet (small). I will have less now because I had to re-home most of my pullets with a friend (until we move) and just have a little flock of bantams (6) and a half-grown roo and a wonderful EE hen (Arabella) who lays a LARGE blue egg almost every day!

Six and a half dozen now. Some of my customers are balking cause I raised my price a quarter to $1.50. That's OK though cause I couldn't hardly get eggs for myself. They will eat a few dozen tasteless supermarket eggs and probably come back.

thats a bargain in a 1/2. One of our local farm stores gets $4 a dozen for eggs. They pay us $2, sell them for $4. Everyone is happy.............
