How many eggs are in your fridge?

Hmmm ~ 60 in the fridge and another 15 on the counter.

I need to start selling some eggs!

I just had another pullet start laying today!

Just one, the DH took my first dozen with him when he left for work (Tahoe) but I love him and he's the one who eats one a day on his Muffin breakfast, I just cook with them! And take care of the chooks!

Only 4 of my 7 girls are laying, so they are doing good to keep production up to demands. We were down to 1 a few days ago, but now have almost a dozen.

Time for breakfast for dinner! (a family tradition and now a regular occurance)

Two shy of 5 dozen, from 5 currently laying hens (one in molt, two not yet laying).

Last couple of weeks have been busy; they've gotten ahead of me. That's fine though. I'll take those now and make cookies for the holidays now and freeze them, thus solving the problem of the ladies not laying when I need them to the most.

I'm down to just 4 eggs.

All of my 3 layers are molting up a storm right now, and have given us a grand total of 3 eggs in 2 weeks or so. I hate molting season. I'm protecting those last precious eggs like they were the family jewels.

On the bright side, my younger girls are about 18 or 19 weeks old, and are sporting some ripening combs lately... And I'm finding some of their little feathers in the nest boxes, maybe getting a feel for what it's all about in there... So there's hope I won't have to resort to store-bought. Go, girls, go!

Thanks for the updates, feel free to add recipes for dealing with too many eggs

I have 20 dozen in the fridge and another 3 dozen on the counter.

The 20 dozen will be taken to my mom's shop tomorrow and will be sold by the weekend!
