How many eggs can a goose set on?

We have never let our geese hatch their own eggs before. We have a female who really wants to set. I have a bunch of eggs I do not have room to incubate, and I Was thinking about letting her set on them. How many can a Chinese goose set on safely?

By safely I meant with good success. I should have said that different. Sorry. I had a Muscovy attempt to hatch eggs that were stacked on top of each other. She did not have good success. If a turkey tries to sit on to many eggs they sometimes will not hatch well. I will give her a few then. Thank you for your response!

A general rule is that a bird can effectively incubate as many eggs as she can completely cover without them being piled up on one another.
