how many eggs can a silkie sit on??

My silkie hen is sitting on 14 eggs, 9 of her own and 5 d'uccle eggs.

Did she hatch them my silkie has 19 eggs under her all different sizes she keeps taking them will they hatch?

Just came across this thread and wondered if she was able to hatch that many out, that is alot!

No she didn’t she only hatched a few and it was a while had to remove several. Thanks. Any ideas to put my hen into broody mode?

No, i wish they had a secret button i could push when i need a broody hen
All you can do is make sure the pen shes in has several places she can hide in to feel secure, so if she thinks about going broody she can have a place to hide in without being disturbed so shes less likely to rethink: nest boxes of course work the best, but also a bale of hay, or even 3 making a little "house" in the corner, when our chickens used to get to roam free they always nested in betwern bales of hay
My easyer eggers are always thinking about getting broody and then changing their minds after just a day in the nest boxes.
