How many eggs did you get in January?

Who's counting? During the first half of the month, during the cold, I averaged about 4-5 out of 13 hens...Now, that it's warming up, I'm averaging 8-10.

10 pullets 251 eggs in January.

981 from 67 hens .... some lay every day and the girls on their third season lay a little less frequently. I had one day where I only got 22 eggs and then another day when I got 48--- a full four dozen in one day

Usually I average between 36-44/day... just depends on who's laying!

In December, I got 166 eggs from 6 laying hens. In January, it dropped to 133 and the Polish hen started laying at the end of the month so for the last few days, I had 7 hens that are laying. The cold, snow and shorter sunlight days slowed them a bit, but I have had 5, 3, 5 and 6 eggs/day so far in February.

I have 13 hens 8 months old and got 262 eggs.
