How many eggs did you get in January?

I got 51 from 5 hens.

January was my first month as a chicken owner and I celebrated each and every one of those beautiful eggs!

20 from 3 but they only started laying part way through Jan.

I ended up getting 138 eggs from 28 hens, But weather was bad, and they are just 6 months old.

I didn't really keep track, but I do know that in my smaller hen house I usually get 4-6 eggs daily from 9 hens, my bigger coop doesn't fair as well....I only get 1-4 daily from 12 hens!! I keep lights on mine all winter long for warmth & I'm sure that helps! I'm pretty happy!
