how many eggs did you get last month from how many hens?

I got 260 eggs from 10 hens, how many did you get??

Aren't chickens great, I love keeping track of how many eggs I get each day, I've done it from day one, I don't care if they lay below average, I just feel like the treasure hunt every day I go to the coop after a long day at work, sorta brings you back down to earth with a little bit of excitement and wonder. My wife is the number one thing to come home to and my chickens just add that much more pleasure to life. Thank you for such happiness Lord.

Frankly, with these red hens, it is very, very rare that 100% don't lay every day. They lay almost 335 out 365 their pullet year. Typical, actually for a commercial red layer.

I got 209 eggs from my 8 now 28 week old RIRs. That's an average of almost 7 eggs per day. I'm so happy with them!
