I got 21 today! 5 from my 7 BLRW girls and 16 from my other coop of only 19 hens! 2 of which are my beautiful dark Marans eggs!

For the past week we've gotten 22 from our 29 GC's each and every day. It's like I've noted before we were getting 24 to 26 per day before the cold weather set in but now we're getting fewer and they're larger. We've been getting several extra-jumbos, maybe 3 or 4 each day. Their diet hasn't changed so I can't explain why for. Maybe we have several who are in molt but don't show it so much...

12/24. Its cold again in central Ohio and that seems to slow the ladies down.

Production has finally picked up. Getting 4 eggs from my 12 hens! Better than 1-2 per day at least!
