How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

A chicken in retirement, does that mean in the stew pot?

Is there any way you could have missed the extra egg in the nest box yesterday afternoon? Sometimes they lay later, after you have collected for the day, that's why I always collect at lock-in so everyone has had their turn in the nest box for the day.

It is possible there was one from yesterday ... but still there were 3 three eggs, one of them a white one and not laid in the nesting box (both hens usually lay brown eggs) so I'm a little stumped - I think my non-layer must have popped one out!
