lucky you, It's so hot down here that 6 out of 16 hens are laying because of the stress.

Six out of six, three days in a row, then 4 two days in a row. They don't seem to like hot weather.

i have seven hens and one rooster. today i got six eggs. one hen is setting on a clutch of, well started out with 6 and now there's 12. i guess the broody hen is still laying eggs as she sets. i would like to know if they are fertilized though. she does get out of the box now and then for a bit, so i suppose they could be fertile. what i'd like to know is: how many fertile eggs does an instance with the rooster produce? does he have to get her every day for every egg to be fertile?
