Because they haven't started laying yet!

NONE ...... i'm still waiting to get my first chicks, the coop is raedy and so is my brooder it's just to HOT right now!! I guess I picked the wrong time of year to get into this!

However it's giving me plenty of time to do some research before I cross over to the chicken side!

I collected my first egg from my brood of 28 hens on July 25, the day before they turned 4 months old. The 26th I got 2 and the 27th I got 1 and last night I got 3. why are they so small, only about 1 1/2" tall?

13 from 25, plus one out brooding. About average, they seem to produce one every couple of days at the moment.
